Subscription Terms
Payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms for ModernCV paid access.

ModernCV offers a one-time 7-day access pass and a recurring Monthly Pro subscription. The exact price, currency, included features, and taxes are displayed at checkout before you confirm payment.
- 7-day access: a one-time payment of €1.50. Access ends automatically seven days after purchase and does not renew.
- Monthly Pro: €5.99 per month. The subscription renews automatically each month until canceled.
2. Payment and activation
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You authorize the displayed charge and, for Monthly Pro, recurring charges using your selected payment method. Paid access is activated after payment is confirmed. You are responsible for keeping billing information current.
3. Automatic renewal
Monthly Pro renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Stripe may retry a failed payment. If payment cannot be collected, paid features may be suspended or the subscription may end.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel Monthly Pro at any time from My Account by opening the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless the law requires otherwise, you keep access through the end of the paid billing period and cancellation does not create a partial-period refund.
The 7-day access pass does not need to be canceled because it does not renew.
5. Refunds and withdrawal rights
ModernCV offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for an initial paid purchase. Contact support within seven days of payment with the account email and transaction details. This commercial guarantee does not limit any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or consumer rights that apply to you.
Where you request immediate access to digital services, local law may affect a statutory withdrawal right once performance begins. Any required consent or acknowledgment will be presented during purchase.
6. Price and feature changes
We may change subscription prices or included features. If a change affects an existing recurring subscription, we will provide advance notice when required and the new price will apply to a future renewal. You may cancel before that renewal.
7. Taxes and currency
Displayed prices may include or exclude taxes depending on your location and checkout presentation. Your payment provider or bank may apply currency-conversion or other charges that are outside ModernCV’s control.
8. Relationship to other terms
These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms & Conditions. If they conflict on a billing-specific issue, these Subscription Terms apply. Mandatory consumer law always takes priority where it cannot be waived.
